Challenge yourself Break through your limits

At the beginning of the new school year, I am pleased to share that the total number of students in our school has increased by 17%. This is the recognition of the school by students and parents, also represents their full expectations for the school. These many new and cute faces inject vitality and rejuvenate the campus.

In this year’s Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination, our performance in a total of 7 subjects have improved compared to last year. The pass rate of the overall subjects has recorded a cumulative increase of more than 5.8%. The performance in English Language has continued to improve for 6 years, with the pass rate increasing from 54.5% in 2019 to 82.2% in 2024. To allow students to successfully embark on their university journey, we have been assisting students in setting goals and corresponding action plans through life-planning and career guidance lessons and various career guidance activities, ultimately allowing graduates to successfully enroll in their favorite courses. In addition to studying associate degree and higher diploma programs in HKU SPACE, we also have graduates who have successfully entered the Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance program of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the Bachelor of Business Administration program of Lingnan University, and the Bachelor of Business Administration of Supply Chain Management program of the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. In addition, with their outstanding achievements in STEAM and leadership skills, we have two recent graduates who have been pre-admitted by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University to study Bachelor of Hotel and Tourism Management program and Bachelor of Fashion program through the EDB’s “School Nominations Direct Admission Scheme”.

This school year, the “3+3 Year School Development Plan” has officially entered the second phase. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of our school, we will also hold a series of activities. I firmly believe that the selfless dedication of teachers can continue to create more opportunities for students to learn and develop their potential. Students will also cherish the opportunity and have the courage to challenge themselves academically, physically and mentally, and break through their limits.
